In 2019, Scouting America expanded their flagship program, now called Scouts BSA, to welcome girls for the first time. While Scouting America has had girls in their programs since 1972, this marked the first time that girls could join their flagship program.
Scouts BSA is an exciting organization that offers girls the opportunity to develop leadership skills, learn new outdoor skills, and make lifelong friendships. Whether you're interested in camping, hiking, or community service, Scouts BSA has something for everyone. Our program is designed to empower girls to become confident, independent, and responsible individuals who are prepared to take on any challenge that comes their way. Joining Scouts BSA is a great way for girls to have fun, learn new things, and make a positive impact in their communities.
We have the best program around, with the best leadership, and the full support and resources of Troop 513 and St. Ambrose Parish. It is our goal to help you thrive in the largest youth organization in the world.
We meet Tuesdays from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. at St. Ambrose Parish Hilkert Hall, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, OH. We do activities outside our regular meetings at least once a month, including camping, hiking, boating, rock climbing, horseback riding, community service, and other adventurous activities. In the summer, we attend a week-long Summer Camp. Being a girl-run organization, YOU decide what we do!
