For over 50 years in Brunswick, our program has helped create generations of leaders and outstanding citizens by allowing boys and girls to explore their interests, serve their communities, and discover their talents through youth-led activities like hiking, camping, and volunteering!

Troop 513 for boys and Troop 7513 for girls both meet on Tuesdays at St. Ambrose Parish. While both troops function independently, there are instances where there may be joint activities conducted as we may share resources. Our Scouts strive to better themselves and their community through the values and lessons of the Scouts BSA program.

How can I join?
To join Scouts BSA, you must meet one of the following:
Be at least 10 years old, currently in the fifth grade and register on or after March 1; OR
Have earned the Arrow of Light award in Cub Scouts and are at least 10 years old; OR
Be at least 11 years old, but not have reached age 18
The more involved the family is in Scouting, the more rewarding the experience becomes for everyone. We encourage parents to stop in and check out ways you might be able to keep our program as great as it is.
A Completed application and medical forms parts A and B are required before any Scout or adult can participate in Troop 513 and 7513 activities as a member. Adult members must also complete Youth Protection Training available online at My.Scouting.org and furnish a copy of the certificate to the troop. Adult leaders are also required to complete the Catholic Church's VIRTUS youth protection training. Visit a meeting to learn more.
